Moodle E-learning Platform

Lecturers and experts compile a list of reading materials in consultation with the Thematic Section's responsible. This list consists of compulsory reading materials and a selected bibliography of articles and books that the students may consult. It normally consists of a maximum number of two articles per lecturer/expert and does not exceed 100 pages in total per week. Additional reading materials may be made available if necessary. The reading list and the compulsory reading materials are distributed in electronic format on the Moodle platform accessible to all students and lecturers.

The E.MA programme offers students an online platform designed specifically to support and improve their study and learning. Moodle is a virtual learning environment, where students can access lecture and seminar information, resources and presentations, discussion fora and a calendar of events. This service is realised in collaboration with the Centre for Training and Research on Human Rights and the Rights of Peoples as well as the Service for Didactic Support of the University of Padua. Moodle can be accessed from the E.MA website and is linked to students’ personal email addresses.

All students are strongly encouraged to attend the introduction to e-learning session during orientation for a demonstration of how Moodle works. They are also recommended to regularly check at least once per day their own email inboxes as any update on Moodle will be sent there.

Each student has been provided with a username and password.
