How to Apply

Thank you for your interest in the European Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation.

Due to demand, we are extending the deadline for applications for E.MA 2015/2016 to 30 April 2015. Availability is limited, so be sure to register before spots fill up!

The call for applications for the academic year 2015/2016 is now open. Please note that applications will be processed on an on-going basis. The sooner you sent your application the more chances you will have to be accepted in E.MA 2015/2016.

First Round Deadline: 15 January 2015.

Second Round Deadline: 15 March 2015.

Third Round Deadline: 30 April 2015.

If selected, please note that you will have to provide the E.MA Secretariat with the originals of your university degree and transcript of exams. Applicants completing the degree entry requirements subsequently to the application deadline are requested to provide a current transcript of exams. Admittance into the programme is conditional upon documentation of completion of studies prior the beginning of the new academic year (31 August 2015).

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted in due time and by 31 May 2015 at the latest.

In order to submit your application, please read carefully the admission criteria and follow the steps below:

STEP 1 - Application processing fee

In order for your application to be considered it is mandatory that you pay the application processing fee of 50 (fifty) Euro by one of the following methods:

    • Name and surname of the applicant for whom the payment is made
      (IMPORTANT: make sure this information is clearly indicated if the payment is made through the bank account of a relative or friend)
    • European Master’s Degree in Human Rights and Democratisation
    • APPLICATION PROCESSING FEE

Once you have completed the payment, please make an electronic copy of your receipt of payment and upload it on the application form (step 2)

STEP 2 - Application form

Only applications submitted through the form provided here will be accepted.

The entire application, including the motivation and the CV has to be submitted in English. Please also include a non-certified English translation of the required proofs, if the original certificates were not issued in English, French, Spanish or Italian.
